The improvements to Lakewood Road were designed for the Lakewood Pointe subdivision in the Village of Lake in the Hills. The design included both right and left turn lanes into the development. The associated widening spanned approximately 1,325 LF along Lakewood Road. Extensive coordination with the developments to the north of the Lakewood Pointe subdivision was required to create a single, unified design for the widening of Lakewood Road across the frontages of all of the properties.
